Following an exclusive listening event last month to preview their latest album, frontman Eddie Vedder heralded it as their "pinnacle achievement," inviting fans worldwide to experience it firsthand.
The esteemed Seattle band, recognized by the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, unveils "Dark Matter," a robust composition characterized by potent guitar riffs, assertive basslines, dynamic drum sequences, and a blistering solo that possesses unparalleled intensity.
"Dark Matter" serves as the vanguard for their upcoming album, set for release on April 19th, marking their twelfth studio effort. This forthcoming record succeeds their 2020 release, Gigaton, lauded by aficionados for its avant-garde approach.

Renowned as one of the preeminent bands to emerge from the grunge movement, Pearl Jam boasts an impressive discography, comprising 12 top 10 entries on the Billboard 200 chart, including five chart-toppers. Their induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2017 solidifies their status among music royalty.
At a recent listening event in West Hollywood, attended by an intimate gathering of close associates, industry insiders, and journalists, Vedder, lead guitarist Mike McCready, and bassist Jeff Ament presented a preview of the upcoming album. Vedder expressed his sentiments onstage, describing the album as a culmination of their artistic evolution.
Producer Andrew Watt oversaw the recording sessions at Rick Rubin's esteemed Shangri-La studio in Malibu, California.
"We completed this album nearly a year ago," Ament disclosed during the event. "Its unveiling has been long overdue."
Pearl Jam's return to the stage is imminent, with a series of performances slated for the summer months, including a headline slot at the BottleRock Festival in Napa Valley, CA, on May 25th, and appearances at various festivals across the Iberian Peninsula in July.
